In the meantime rockchip corrected those bugs and released a new version 2.3 of it's tool (already back in august 2014). I just start this thread because at the moment I think this great new tool is missing the attention it should get In case you're interested I've attached the new tool to this post. Download AndroidTool(v2.58) and DriverAssitant_v4.6.zip
Update through Android Tool
Step1 : Connect with the OTG port and PC .
Step2 : Double click DriverInstall.exe .
Rockchip Android Tool
Step3 : Enter into MASKROM mode .
There are two ways to enter MASKROM .
1. Hardware way to enter MASKROM
（1）Connect PIN2-PIN1 of CN19 to Disable eMMC，reboot device to enter MASKROM mode.
（2）After device enter into MASKROM mode，then connect PIN2-PIN3 of CN19 to Enable eMMC.

2. Software way to enter MASKROM
When the device boot up to debian, you can use Terminal or Debug port to input the following command :
sudo reboot loader
Click 'Advantech Function' , then 'Enter MASHROM' button to enter MASHROM mode .
Step4 : Select the image path .
Step5 : Click update button to upgrade images .
Forget Pattern of your Rockchip Android Tablet & does not remember the Gmail Login Credential. If your tablet is powered by Rockchip processor then it can be hard reset using Android tool. .
Tools & Software required:-

- USB wire
- PC
Steps to Reset password:-
- Download the Tool and install the driver included in Download package
- Switch off the Tablet
- Connect the Tablet to PC using USB cable
- While connecting Tablet to PC press and Hold Power and Volume up to recognize the tablet by PC (If your tablet Does not get recognized, Try Volume Down & Power key)
- Select misc.img and uncheck the loader
- Select misc.img path, packed in downloaded folder
- Click on Run
- When you click on run process, the tablet will restart
- Now, tab will reset and free from pattern lock
